Arkansas head football Coach Bret Bielema will speak at the Saline County Razorback Club fish fry on Wednesday, April 20, at the Benton Event Center. The cost for the event is $25 for adults, $10 students and includes dinner, a silent auction and an autograph section.
Coach Bielema will discuss how he and his staff are preparing the Razorbacks for the 2016 season. Ranked in the top 25 by both ESPN and 247Sports, Arkansas’ recently signed 20-player recruiting class will be highlighted, along with new additions to the coaching staff, Razorbacks in the 2016 NFL Draft, returning contributors, momentum from the Liberty Bowl victory and a preview of arguably the best home schedule in program history. Arkansas opens spring practice on March 29 and plays its annual Red-White Game on April 23.
The only team in the SEC West to win a bowl game each of the last two seasons, Arkansas closed the season by winning six of its last seven games. Included in the Razorbacks’ eight-win campaign were a program record three victories on the road (at Tennessee, at Ole Miss and at LSU) against SEC teams that finished in the final Associated Press Top 25.
Twenty-three Razorback Clubs, including the Saline County Razorback Club, uphold the mission of the Razorback Foundation throughout Arkansas and the surrounding states. Through contributions from more than 14,000 Foundation members, who understand the need and cost of maintaining a premier athletic program, the Razorback Foundation is able to provide scholarship support for more than 460 student-athletes, funding to support facility enhancements and financial assistance to other programs designed to elevate student-athletes and Arkansas athletics.
All Razorback fans are encouraged to join the Razorback Foundation as well as support their local Razorback Club. Foundation membership starts at $50 annually. For more information about the Razorback Foundation, and how to join your local club, please visit www.RazorbackFoundaton.com or call 479.443.9000.

The 2016 home schedule includes six games in Fayetteville, five against opponents that played in bowl games last season - Louisiana Tech, Alabama, Ole Miss, Florida and LSU. For the first time in school history, the University of Arkansas will play four Southeastern Conference games at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. Arkansas will also take on Alcorn State at War Memorial Stadium.
