Glen Rose/Malvern game postponed due to lack of referees

The much-anticipated Glen Rose vs. Malvern football game set for Friday night will have to wait 24 hours.

The rivalry contest was postponed to Saturday after referees were no-shows to the game, according to reports.

The game will be played at 7 p.m. at Malvern.

The Malvern Daily Record reports that Malvern Superintendent Brian Golden said a "conflict with referee assigner" is reason for the mixup.

Also, white ticket holders can enter Saturday's game with the tickets purchased Friday. Those that are unable to attend will received a refund by visiting the administration office Tuesday.
