HASKELL
The Harmony Grove Cardinals made history Monday, becoming the first Cardinals baseball team to ever complete conference play undefeated.
The Cardinals defeated 5-3A foe Bismarck 9-2 on Senior Night on Monday to finish 6-0 in league action.
Bismarck jumped in front 2-0 after two before a fierce comeback propelled Harmony Grove to victory.
Senior Cody Icenhower led Harmony Grove at the dish with three hits, two RBIs and a double in the win, all while battling illness.
Jordan Jones was lifted after two innings of work and replaced by Brinson Cornwell who threw five innings of scoreless, one-hit ball, striking out 10 in the process.
