LITTLE ROCK
The Bryant Hornets escaped War Memorial Stadium with a 49-42 win over arch rival Benton on Saturday, taking their 15th Salt Bowl victory.
The game saw a back-and-forth scoring frenzy all night with both teams matching each other before thousands of respective fans.
Benton's Zak Wallace would find the end zone five times on the night, rushing for more than 170 yards in the process.
For Bryant, Cameron Vail crossed the goal line three times, helping the Hornets to their 11th Salt Bowl win in the past 12 tries (14-14 tie SB XV).
