The Harmony Grove Lady Cardinals continued its run through conference play, capturing its third straight victory Monday at Centerpoint.
Coming off back-to-back league wins over 4A's Arkadelphia and Malvern last week, the Lady Cardinals turned in another big win, taking down the Lady Knights 42-31.
Harmony Grove used a big 14-5 run in the first quarter to jump in front before leading 22-17 at the break.
With its defense heating up to start the second half, Harmony Grove found itself up 36-23 after three quarters.
Already with a decent lead, the Lady Cardinals held strong to finish the game, coming away with another much-needed win.
Senior forward Leighton Withers led all scorers with 14 on the night, followed by fellow senior Grace Bryant with 10.
Junior Kylie Moore turned in another good shooting night, adding eight after leading the Lady cardinals with 18 on Friday.
Harmony Grove will host arch rival Glen Rose tonight at the Daniel Henley Fieldhouse in Haskell.
