Benton bowling finishes 7th at state

After winning the conference tournament last Friday, the Benton boys bowling team had a tough go of it during the state tournament Wednesday at Allfam Bowling Center in Cabot. Benton finished seventh with 3,801 total pins as host Cabot won state by almost 300 pins.
After Cabot’s 4,447 total, Bentonville (4,172), Van Buren (4,158), Lake Hamilton (4,138), Siloam Springs (4,094) and Rogers (3,846) rounded out the top six. Northside, Texarkana and Conway rounded out the top 10.
