Bryant denies Alma

The Bryant Hornets withstood a late charge by the Alma Airedales Friday night and won 61-50.
“They are never out of it because they shoot the ball well,” Head Coach Mike Abrahamson said. “They play well against us.”
The last time the two teams met, on Feb. 2, Bryant had Alma down 13 before the Airedales rallied in the second half for a 55-53 upset win.
In that game, Alma made 12 of 16 from 3-point range. On Friday, Alma was just 10 of 32 from the 3-point line.
“Every shot they take, it looks like its going in,” Abrahamson said. “Last night, the kids did a good job of contesting the shots and rebounding their misses.
